Andres De Arco

Andres De Arco is a graduate student in the class of 2023 studying theology at Harvard Divinity School. Through his experience in LPCE 102, he was able to harness his passion for social justice to address some of the disparities within the coffee industry. His venture, Café De Gracia, sustainably produces specialty Colombian coffee and utilizes the profits to build leadership and educational platforms in under-resourced communities in Colombia. His venture’s emphasis on the ethics of coffee production has garnered high recognition throughout Colombia’s national coffee competitions and has contributed to the exploration of creative solutions to promote integrity within all aspects of coffee production. During his time outside of Harvard, Andres enjoys trying out new recipes and exploring nature trails.
