Important Information

We want to share the Buy2Pay funding distribution process with you.
Please read the important information below.

Harvard University uses an online portal, the Harvard Supplier Portal, to register student award recipients and guest speakers and facilitate payments.

Buy2Pay Instructions

To begin the registration process, you will receive an email from Buy2Pay notifying you that you have been invited to register as a supplier in the Harvard Supplier Portal. The email includes a "Register Now" link which will guide you through account creation and registration in the Harvard Supplier Portal. If you do not see this email in your inbox, please check your spam folder. If you do not see the email in your spam folder, please reply with an alternate email address, and we will resend the invitation. We anticipate the setup process will take 20 minutes.

Important Information: a single student can always register and distribute funds to their team. However, if a student organization or student team needs to be set up, rather than an individual, they will need to register an Employer Identification Number (EIN) with the IRS. The below link will provide more information on how they can obtain an EIN.

Please be aware that the LPCE program prize money (e.g., Harvard HealthLab, Launch Fund, Venture Support Curriculum Fund) is taxable. Harvard shall not be responsible for any applicable taxes or for increasing the prize money to cover any applicable tax required to be withheld.
